Freedom Horsemanship

I love horses, always have. I was raised with horses, but really I was raised by horses. They influenced my entire life and were my best friends and companions.

Those ideals have been incorporated over the decades into my work as a teacher, trainer, and clinician in horsemanship. Building relationships between horses and humans has been my lifelong passion. 

For 21 years, I operated a guest ranch - Seasons Ranch - a teaching and training and horsemanship event facility next to Sprucewoods Park, Manitoba. I raised and trained horses and taught horsemanship to adults and offered youth horsemanship camps for several years. 

Over my lifetime I have studied with many well-known holistic horsemanship and mindfulness teachers. In 2010 I joined the Horse Agility Club and became a Horse Agility Accredited Trainer and Judge. My horsemanship lessons include many aspects of horse care, handling, and riding. My clinics on natural hoofcare, horse agility and horsemanship were taught across Manitoba, and into Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec and Vermont.

I also hold a Third Level Degree in the Trust Technique Method (www.trusttechnique.com) as a certified Private Practitioner. The Trust Technique is a mindfulness method which aids in opening your heart and mind to understand and communicate with animals at their deepest emotional level. 

My husband Dave and I live in the town of St. Malo, Manitoba. Our animal friends are 3 house cats and my Missouri Foxtrotter mare - Angel. I offer consultations, lessons and clinics in and around Winnipeg and southern Manitoba.
